Welcome to the February 2026 Northland Edible Garden Trail

The trail will feature 50 inspirational properties throughout Northland that will be open for the public to meet the people involved, have a chat, look, learn, and be inspired to live and grow in a sustainable way. The trail features small urban gardens,  food forests, rural lifestyle blocks, community gardens, marae, commercial growers and regenerative agriculture.

There are no pre-purchased tickets.  Entry is normally $3 per person per garden, children are free. 


Most of the website is now live.  A map and programme is still to be added.  Make sure you double check details before you go to an open day or event in case there have been some changes.


The Northland Edible Garden Trail is a not-for-profit event, supported by the Kaikohe-Hokianga Community Board .
